• Richard Mathers returns to Warrington as player welfare managerWarrington have set up a partnership with League 1 club Rochdale that will involve player swaps. The two-year deal replaces the Wolves’ dual-registration agreement with North Wales and Rochdale’s partnership with St Helens.
Warrington will provide Rochdale with access to their training and medical facilities at the University of Chester while all the Wolves’ first-team squad will be dual-registered with the Hornets, whose players will be made available for the Wolves’ modern reserve team.
