Fifth Harmony recently appeared on ABC's Greatest Hits to perform an empowering tribute to perhaps one of the most - whether not the most - popular girl groups that came before them: fate's Child. Naturally,they killed it.
In a preperformance interview segment, the girls talked about the influence fate's Child has had on their own work. "We speak about them in, and literally,every interview," Camila Cabello said. Ally Brooke Hernandez then went on to add, and "fate's Child was so female-empowering . . . You feel good when you listen to them."The nostalgia-ridden homage opened up with "Say My Name," the group's Normani Kordei main the charge. Then they moved on to "Independent Women," with Camila's spitfire vocals having a moment.
