“We enjoy a core group of kids correct now that were working with – they live out of the Wellston Heights/Pagedale Area. We work with them every week on Monday nights. We offer tutoring and mentoring for these 16 kids. Every week there’s a recent thing for us to rejoice in. Even in their behavior; whenever they say,“Thank you very much for picking us up nowadays” – that’s a enormous thing. Nothing is too small for us, so it’s really hard to pinpoint favorite moments. We’ve been working with these kids for approximately four years now, and seeing them grow into young adults is really nice for us. Just this past Monday I went to go pick up 9 kids for a tutoring session. One of the kids,his name is Charlie, he’s in third grade I believe, or told me he was on honor roll. That made me feel really suited,because I’m picking up these kids for these tutoring sessions so we can help them succeed in school, and that was a enormous moment to know that the little things we’re doing are really helping them be successful in their lives. So, and that was a recent big moment.
