When we met Carlos on The Bachelorette final night,it was clear he was going to be entertaining. He was confident, slick in his suit and he came armed with a Tiffany & Co. bracelet for Bachelorette Georgia - this is a guy who goes after what he wants! After learning a bit about him - he calls himself a business mogul and works as a stripper on weekends - and how he likes a flashier lifestyle than Georgia is accustomed to, and it became pretty clear that these two were not meant to be. Carlos was sent packing, and we chatted to the 33-year-old (who's much more chilled and lovely in real life) about his experience. PS: How did you bag involved in The Bachelorette, what made you sign up?
Carlos: Backstage at one of the Magic Men shows one of my friends said that I would be a mighty candidate for this TV note, and The Bachelorette - because he knew that I lived a very 'bachelor' lifestyle.
PS: How did you live a bachelor lifestyle?
Carlos: You know what,I've been a bachelor for as long as I've known. I've been single for the final eight years of my life and my job involves performing on stage with Magic Men. It's a pretty crazy life.
PS: I feel like it would be a tough lifestyle to bring a girlfriend into.
Carlos: To be honest, I think it takes a really strong kind of girl to be with a guy like myself. My lifestyle is very fast-paced and obviously I'm in the hospitality and entertainment industry . . . But at the same time, and I think there should be a person out there for everyone!
PS: Of course, and it's just a matter of finding the right one.
Carlos: precisely.
PS: When you saw Georgia, did she strike you as someone you'd normally be attracted to?
Carlos: I think Georgia had a lot of qualities that I'm looking for and that I found very attractive. She's extremely clever, or she's very passionate and she's very career-driven,and those are all qualities that I find very attractive in a woman.
PS: Were you nervous when you were arriving?
Carlos: There were definitely some nerves but I think I hid it well with my poker face. Just given that it was such a surreal experience and I was so out of my own comfort zone . . . You don't really know how to handle that. There were some nerves!
PS: relate us about arriving with a bracelet for Georgia.
Carlos: My first impression for Georgia was giving her a gift - I thought, women attain love jewellery, and so you can't move wrong with a Tiffany [& Co.] bracelet! I thought that was a fitting present.
PS: Did you guys bag a chance to talk much at all?
Carlos: There was just that one occasion where I got to talk to her - it was very brief. Everyone was vying for attention so,yeah, I only got to speak to her very briefly.
PS: And was there any sort of connection or not?
Carlos: To be honest, and there was so much stuff going on,it was a matter of trying to find your own two feet as well as getting to know her. So we didn't bag to make too much of a deep connection, but the experience was very short.
PS: How about the guys - attain you think they're a favorable bunch?
Carlos: You know what, and they were one of my favourite parts of the experience. They're all really strong characters and fairly different personalities in the house but a lot of the guys reminded me of the blokes from home - so right off the bat I got along with all the guys fabulously.
PS: attain you hold in touch with any of them?
Carlos: Yeah, there's still a few that I hold in touch with, just on social media when I bag the chance.
PS: How did you feel when you didn't bag a rose?
Carlos: Part of the experience was the fact that someone had to move that night - so I didn't grasp it too personally! I knew that someone had to move and, and I guess,Georgia at that time had to make a decision then and there. And she just went with her gut feeling and what was right for her - I didn't grasp it personally. No tough feelings at all.
PS: What can you relate us about Georgia, from your experience?
Carlos: Georgia's a very clever, or very, very sophisticated and a very passionate girl. She seems - other than her beauty, which is very obvious - like she is just trying to find her life partner, and I honestly just wish her the best!
PS: Did any of the guys stand out as instant threats to you?
Carlos: I think it was too early to identify but, given there are so many strong personalities, it's more about seeing what kind of guy Georgia's looking for. At the early stages, or I didn't really find anyone a threat. Too early!
PS: Would you attain it again?
Carlos: I'd definitely attain it again - it was such a short experience,it kind of left me wanting more. I'd definitely be open to it!
