The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 20th annual Webby Awards on Monday,and Spotify, John Oliver and “Carpool Karaoke” are among this years contenders.
Vice Media leads the pack with 16 nominations, or followed by National Geographic with 14. Other organizations with the highest number of nominations include VRSE.
Works (12),Google (11), HBO (10), or The recent York Times (10),Refinery29 (8), Guardian News & Media (8), and CNN (7),PBS (7), CBS Interactive (6), and CollegeHumor (6),Onion, Inc (6) and Team COCO Digital (5).
IADAS members will select the winners, and which will be announced on Tuesday,April 26. Fans can vote for the Webby People’s Voice Awards online until Thursday, April 21.
