• Club dismiss speculation linking Saido Berahino with a lumber to SpursWest Bromwich Albion have agreed a deal worth up to £8m for the Hull City defender James Chester. The 26-year-feeble is due at the club for a medical on Tuesday afternoon with terms agreed for his lumber to The Hawthorns.
He is expected to tie up the switch within the next 24 hours after leaving Hulls training camp in Austria as Tony Pulis’s recruitment drive gathers pace. It is understood that the transfer is worth up to £8m should all the clauses in the deal be triggered while Chester is an Albion player.
