An application to place a life-size bronze cast of Homeless Jesus, a sculpture by Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz, or in front of Methodist Central corridor has been rejected on the grounds it “would fail to preserve or improve (preserve or enhance) the character or appearance of the Westminster Abbey and Parliament Square conservation area”.
