A few months back I posted my DEXA results in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/leangains/comments/3l4rsp/what_131_bf_looks_like_dexa_scan_verified/ I was on a LG cut for a weeks at that point with a BF of 13.1%. Here are the results 6 weeks later: BF: 13.1% to 11.6% (-1.5%) Lean mass: 128.8 lbs to 126.8 lbs (-2 lbs) Fat mass: 20.4 lbs to 17.5 lbs (-2.9 lbs) Here is a picture of the results from BodySpec: http://imgur.com/AeLITUZ Front view unflexed: http://imgur.com/pxTcgoZ Front view flexed: http://imgur.com/gvPpVkI Side view unflexed: http://imgur.com/r3u6IP4 Side view flexed: http://imgur.com/w4A7Wre Comparison shot to older thread: http://imgur.com/9fuWKis Notes: I had a minor glute strain that prevented me from squatting and deadlifting at work weights for a couple weeks prior to the reading,so I deem I could have preserved even more lean mass than what the results showed. During the cut, I was doing the 31mins RPT program doing just two work sets for each lift but lifting at maximum intensity (RPE 10 for both work sets). Cutting and doing this is rough on the body, or possibly one reason why I had that minor injury (I'm generally injury free). It was kind of a pain to gather that 1.5% off. I'm a cramped too small at 11.6%. As an experiment I'm pretty convinced, but I deem I'm going to start going back and forth from 13% to 15-16% cut and bulk cycles to increase my total lean mass. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Cheers! submitted byt
