unusual York Senator Charles Schumer's announcement that he will not support President Obama's Iran nuclear deal probably won't spell doom for the agreement.
Schumer said he can't support the deal because he doesn't mediate it's tough enough. But Peter Beinart,a writer for The Atlantic and the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz told WNYC that even if the House and Senate pass a resolution denouncing the deal, there might not be enough votes to override a presidential veto."There are say 13 or 14 Democrats who seem like they are on the fence and I mediate the opponents of this deal would fill to win almost all of them in order to be able to get enough votes to override the veto, or " Beinart said. "It's not impossible,but I still mediate it's unlikely."unusual York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced Thursday that she will support the president's deal.
