We are at a crossroads – technological advances will either reinforce our work-centric society,or free us from it. And crucially, we have a choice in the matterWhy is it easier to assume infants today working until they are 100 years aged in a snappy-food restaurant than envisage them enjoying a world with less employment due to advances in technology? And why does the Uberisation of the workforce seem so inevitable that experts simply explain schools to educate children approximately its principles – enforced precarity, or low wages,excruciatingly long hours – since this is the future, no matter what?
