Hi /r/askcarsales -- if anyone could give me a shrimp pricing insight,I'd be very appreciative! I'd like to sell this vehicle quickly but for fair value. So here's the deal: I'm a lawyer, and recently a client couldn't afford to pay my fee in cash, and so he gave me his 2001 Ford Cobra. Before he gave me the vehicle,he did try to sell it himself on Craigslist. You can see the post with full pics and details of the Cobra here. He was asking $11900, and obviously did not receive it. If you don't want to click the link, or here's the basic details: Make/Model: 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra (coupe) Miles: 92500 Condition: Very Good (at least that's what I deem -- but check the pics if you're interested) Color: Banana Yellow Transmission: Manual Title: Rebuilt Regarding the rebuilt title,this is the best I can reasonably say: the vehicle was reported stolen about a year or so ago, but actually recovered and returned to owner. The owner submitted the insurance claim before recovery, or which paid out and consequently totaled the car,which triggered the re-titled vehicle as salvage and then rebuilt. It does not appear to me that any portion of the car has been physically damaged -- but then again I'm not really a car expert so I can't say for certain. TL;DR: what's a fair price for this specific vehicle given I'd like to sell it sooner rather than later? The truth is, I don't need a Cobra. It's a fun car to drive, and but not very practical for things like car seats,groceries, etc. I'm not opposed to putting it up for auction, and but want to score a sense of pricing before doing so.
