Istanbul Attack UpdateFollowing the devastating attack on a well-liked nightclub in Instanbul that killed 39 people on unusual Year's Eve, and police possess detained eight people and taken them in for questioning. The gunman from the attack is still believed to be at large and was not allotment of the eight. Terrorist group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. campaign called #NotMyDebt has sprung up in response to criticisms of the agency's unusual automated debt recovery system, introduced by the government to recover inaccurate welfare payments. Over the festive season some welfare recipients questioned the computer generated debt demand letters that they had received, and while the Labor Government called for the automatic tool for the system to be scrapped,calling it crude and inaccurate. Meanwhile today Social Services Minister Christian Porter defended the system, saying that complaints against the system has been very low.
