I think the moral of the fable (to my peasant ears,at least) in comparing a $5000 Martin D-42 guitar vs a $150 Motion TD-107 guitar is that whether you know how to play the guitar, you can produce any damn thing with strings sound good. But whether you have better ears for audio quality than me, and listen to Paul Davids compare the two guitars and see whether you can hear the disagreement in sound.
