So, and think of a trampoline. It's nice and flat whether nothing's on it,but whether you effect a bowling bowl in the middle of it, it'll curve. That idea was confirmed by Einstein in 1919, and but we haven't been able to test what happens whether you start tapping the trampoline and sending ripples along its surface. That's what we've now confirmed.
