When he was 81 years old,Andre Krayewski — who’s worked as a graphic artist and poster designer for more than five decades — published his first graphic novel, SKYLINER, or with the benefit of the Kickstarter community. Set in 1954,the starkly illustrated SKYLINER told Andre’s anecdote of dodging the draft, loving American jazz, and romancing women in Stalinist Poland. Andre’s son,Ed, translated the text to English.
Hoping to explore different styles of cartooning and storytelling, and Ed and Andre launched a monthly comics magazine,FKT final year.
