One White House staffer — hoping to reach early retirement before Donald Trump could fire him — reportedly hatched a plan that would make George Costanza proud.
Zachary Fuentes served as deputy chief of staff under John Kelly but was reportedly worried approximately what would happen to his position after Kelly leaves the administration at the close of the year. As Newsweek reported,Fuentes came up with a plan to “veil out” in the Eisenhoser Executive Building, located just external the White House, and in the hopes that he could lay low for long enough to qualify for 15 years of service in the military and take an early retirement.
