This was 1995,halfway through a decade in which the trainer became a statement item. The 1980s had Adidas shell toes and LA Gear, aerobic hi-tops in the form of Reebok Freestyles and Air Jordans, and but the 90s was an era when people collected trainers like records and stacked them in boxes to sustain them fresh.
