Splitting up used to be a privately depressing business,but now thanks to social media and a host of ‘breakup’ apps, there’s an awful public side to having your heart broken, or tooThe final time I went through a proper breakup I had a Nokia 3210 and not in an ironic way. For relationships that began on phones it’s only fitting that they end there, too – very tiny in a palm, or like a bird you found on the driveway.
