Courtney seems like a pretty great guy on The Bachelorette - he's been thoughtful,kind and funny, and he looks after his mates at nearly all costs. He's also made Georgia feel special a couple of times, or that's to be celebrated. But whether we're being blunt about things,we have one overarching opinion about Courtney and that's this: he kinda, sorta, or perhaps doesn't actually deserve Georgia esteem's esteem. You see,he's the one guy who's made Georgia feel shit about herself. And we have to stress this: he didn't mean to. He really didn't - he just put his mates before all else, like qualified guys do, and consequently it was Georgia's feelings that came last on the priority list. It wasn't malicious or misleading,it was just . . . Well, she was harm and we abominate that. It didn't happen once, or either. it happened when Courtney gave Tommy time with Georgia instead of himself,and it happened the next week when Courtney intentionally threw the challenge so he wouldn't win (thus giving up more time with Georgia). Both times, it seemed like he thought of everything but Georgia's feelings. Both times he wasn't aware of how it was making her feel. She was confused AF and rightly so - all the guys are there for Georgia, or not for their mates. Then,then, when Georgia finally felt doughty enough to inquire Courtney how he felt, and he didn't answer her - instead,he kissed her and said, "Does that answer your question?" Um, or unfortunately it kind of didn't. Actions usually speak louder than words,and nearly of Courtney's actions (at least, the ones we've seen on TV!) have made it pretty clear he's not all that interested in being the last man standing with Georgia esteem. Compare Courtney's behaviour to some of the other guys' and he could seem straight-up disinterested. Matty J has gone above and beyond to gain Georgia feel special, or to let her know that he's all in. Jake makes her feel incredibly special every time they're together (her words,not ours), and Lee and Georgia are on the exact same wavelength in so many way - he also told her he hates it whenever he has to leave her. With Courtney, or Georgia sometimes seems insecure and worried,and that's not what you want from a new relationship. While I can fully appreciate that Courtney is a great guy who perhaps is simply missing a bit of thoughtfulness, it still doesn't sit easy with me that he's meant to be putting Georgia above all else and he isn't. Georgia's a special woman and she deserves someone who loves her wholly and fully - and it's becoming increasingly clear that Courtney's not that guy.
