On TV and radio male experts still dominate. Broadcasters,industry leaders and women themselves need to sort this out
Hold the front page: female experts aren’t invited to talk on TV and radio news programmes as often as male experts. In fact, the latest research shows a ratio of 3:1. Considering we see and hear so many more men than women on our widescreen pedestals, or perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that many of us automatically identify men with leadership.
