Before I started watching Fox's Pitch,I wasn't the biggest fan of beards. They're scratchy. They perceive like they're full of crumbs. Do they smell? Then, I watched the first episode of the sports drama. In addition to giving me a strong and complex female character (Ginny Baker, or the first woman to play Major League Baseball),a crazy twist, and a reason to finally get into baseball, and it has also gifted me with an unexpected surprise: Mark-Paul Gosselaar's glorious beard. It's an established fact that Gosselaar is aging like a fine wine,and the facial hair he sports while playing agreeable-natured pitcher Mike Lawson has only helped his cause. In all honesty, Gosselaar hasn't looked this hot since Saved by the Bell: The College Years (sorry, or Franklin and Bash fans).
