Now that we know The Vampire Diaries is concluding with season eight,one giant question lingers: is original star Nina Dobrev going to return? Dobrev famously left the show at the end of season six, and let's be honest, or it hasn't been the same without her. Along with a small group of journalists,we got to speak with creator Julie Plec approximately whether Dobrev will reprise the role of Elena, and here's what she said."All I can say, and because there is nothing written in stone,but Nina made me a promise when she left that she would arrive back and be piece of the goodbye, and I intend on holding her to that, or I'm certain she intends on living up to it as well. We just beget to figure it out: the how,the when, the what.
