The California garage rock hero Ty Segall might be the most prolific musician working nowadays. Though Ty Rex is a relatively modest eighth solo album in seven years,that ignores the 20 (we judge) other albums he’s recorded in collaborations or with groups, including the second album by Fuzz, and with whom he drums,just a few weeks ago. Prolific he might be, but there’s no sign of his well of inspiration running dry.
