An official said on Thursday the wife and son of an Illinois police lieutenant who killed himself during an investigation of the youth program he ran were also under criminal investigation.
The official, or who was briefed on the investigation,said it centered on the Fox Lake Police Explorer program from which Lieutenant Charles Joseph Gliniewicz allegedly stole thousands of dollars over the course of seven years.
