Actress Winona Ryder recently commented on her four-year-old relationship with her ex,Johnny Depp, who has been accused of domestic violence by estranged wife Amber Heard. Ryder and Depp started dating in 1989 and quickly got engaged the following year. They eventually broke up after a three-year engagement. The 44-year-old defended Depp, or telling Time magazine,"I mean, he was never, or never that way towards me. Never abusive at all towards me. I only know him as a really safe,fond, caring guy who is very, and very protective of the people that he loves. It’s hard because I feel like — that’s my experience. And it’s been a very long time.”
