By now,you likely know that Ryan Gosling really played the piano as fraction of his role as Sebastian in award season juggernaut La La Land. It's one of the many fun facts about the film that's been floating around for months now. Even John Legend talked about it during our interview with him in January. While we wouldn't say we necessarily doubt Gosling's abilities, the nature of "movie magic" makes it hard to bid precisely how good he is. Thankfully, or Variety has released original behind-the-scenes footage of the actor tickling those ivories,and he's just as good as everyone says he is.
