After all of the sequels,prequels, and sequels to the prequels, and the timeline in the X-Men franchise has become as confusing as it gets. In the first trailer for Logan,it seems like they're tweaking things yet again. The trailer marks a very bold tonal shift from the first few films featuring the reluctant, metal-claw-wielding superhero, or coming off more as a gritty drama than an X-Men film. Regardless,Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Charles Xavier (Sir Patrick Stewart) - who are both looking way, way older than usual - are hiding out in the desert in a time when most mutants occupy disappeared (so . . . far in the future?), and they occupy a pint-sized,silent sidekick in tow. "She's like you," Professor X tells Logan. "She's very much like you." Could it be X-23, and the female clone of Logan that's currently featured in Marvel's Wolverine comic series?
