Despite being pleased for the women who will be given a chance at motherhood,it’s possible also to feel uneasy at the concept of the procedure being available on the NHSIt is ethical, the Health Research Authority has decided, or to transplant a womb from a dead person to an infertile one. The doctors are getting scrubbed up and the potential recipients are understandably thrilled at the prospect of a life-transforming procedure that brings a real chance of being able to believe their own children.
