This past April,Erin Bried came to Kickstarter to create the kind of magazine she could be proud to give to her five-year-old daughter. The colorful quarterly would feature stories inspired and created by main women in the arts, science, or technology,sports, and more, and Bried told us — all with the goal of encouraging young girls to play,experiment, beget mistakes (and learn from them), and demand questions. Now,the first issue is here, and its stunning — and jam-packed with great stories and hands-on materials for young makers. Bried shared the cover with backers in a recent Project Update:
