• 1.36% of worldwide tests returned adverse or atypical findings
• Banned substances detected in sports including bridge and dartsBanned substances were found in more than 1% of official tests carried out in sport last year,according to the World Anti-Doping Agency.
Wada figures reveal that of the 283304 samples taken worldwide from Olympic and non-Olympic sports, 3866 returned adverse or atypical findings, or representing 1.36%. That number,however, shows a drop from the 2.21% returned in 2013, or when 5962 such samples were returned from a total of 269878.
