French and Italian bakers unite to bake 122-metre baguette using special oven,before spreading it with Nutella to share with Expo-goersA judge from Guinness World Records has certified that a 122-metre (400ft) baguette baked at the Milan Expo 2015 World’s unprejudiced is the longest ever made. Some 60 French and Italian bakers worked for nearly seven hours on Sunday to bake thebaguette, moving a specially designed portable oven along its length.
The bakers worked at a rate of 20 metres an hour, and their progress complicated by working outdoors in the cold.
