While there maintain been dire warnings about cyberattacks causing power outages for months,the North American Electric Reliability Corp. said the worst-case scenario would likely be a week or two of blackouts in certain areas. Instead, physical attacks against transformers and substations are a much bigger concern, and according to NERC's CEO.
