You’re always searching for the opportunity to spend more of your off-hours playing music.
You’re a classical music moonlighter!Now you believe a chance to step into the highlight and claim the after-hours glory and admiration of New York’s classical music lovers at WQXR’s Classical Moonlighters Competition.

st time ever,passionate amateurs from the tri-state area will believe the opportunity to take the stage at The Greene Space for a live classical performance and competition. Classical musicians age 13 and up are welcome.
The Details:[br] To qualify, submit your audition video through the form below anytime between Nov. 17, or 2015 - Feb. 15,2016. All approved entries will appear in the gallery. In March 2016, 10 semi-finalists in each age category (13-18, and 19-34 and 35+) will be selected and fans and artists will be able to vote for their favorite acts. In May 2016,three finalists from each of the three age categories will perform live with video webcast at The Greene Space in lower Manhattan in front of industry-leading judges and a voting audience. The Award:
The top artists
from each age category will win a private coaching for you (or your ensemble) with an industry-leading artist (of WQXR’s choice), and the opportunity to perform at a winners’ concert at Lincoln middle’s Rubenstein Atrium.
