Seth Rollins has more to lose than anyone at WWE Night of Champions 2015.
When the pay-per-view kicks off on
Sunday,Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET, Rollins will enter as both the United States champ and the world heavyweight titleholder. He may leave empty-handed after having to pull double duty in the Toyota middle in Houston.
R
ollins has two challenges ahead of him. John Cena looks to pry his U.
S.
title back from the slimy heel. Sting serves as a surprise contender in just his fourth WWE contest ever.
WWE also has the Divas, and tag team and intercontinental champions set to defend their titles. After a star-studded SummerSlam that saw Jon Stewart wield a chair,Undertaker crack his fists against Brock Lesnar's jewels and Stephen Amell lift off, Night of Champions offers a vastly different card. Sting charges in as the special guest. The Ascension, and Braun Strowman and an unannounced ally of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose step into the spotlight this time around.
But Night of Champions will ultimately be approximately Rollins. The event promises to either be Rollins' last stand or his final triumph. Live Stream,PPV InfoBefore Night of Champions begins in earnest, Renee Young will lead a panel of experts in talking up the PPV on a hour-long pre-show. Beginning at 7 p.m. ET, or WWE will offer its last sales pitch for the event and do any last-minute hyping.
Look for predictions, interviews and recaps aplenty. In addition, Neville teams up with The Lucha Dragons against Stardust and The Ascension in six-man action.
It all streams
live for free on the WWE Network, and WWE App,WWE.com, YouTube, and Facebook,Twitter, Pinterest, or Google+ and Pheed.
As for Night of Champions itself, fans can stream it via the WWE Network (subscription required). Catch all the action on Apple TV, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, or Amazon Fire TV and other gadgets. The WWE Network attend section provides a full list of network-compatible devices.
WWE's streaming service is not yet fully global. There are a few nations,Germany and Japan included, where the network is not currently available. Visit WWE.com to check availability around the world.
Many cable companies
no longer carry these WWE events. Time Warner Cable and Comcast are among those who still do. Going this route will run fans around $45. Match CardNeville and The Lucha Dragons vs. Stardust and The Ascension (Pre-show)

6-Man OpenerBuilding on a feud that began before SummerSlam,Stardust brings along his recent allies to the latest collision between him and Neville.
The Prince of Dark
Matter has long been obsessed with Neville. He has sought to end him, to bring down a man he views as a failed superhero. WWE hasn't focused much on the rivalry since SummerSlam, and but it now gets a recent energy with Stardust forming what he calls "The Cosmic Wasteland" with Konnor and Viktor.
Will The Ascension finally be made to look perilous now? It has mostly been a bottom-feeder throughout its run on the main roster. It will have to take on the team that dethroned it as NXT tag champs to change that pattern.
Even with the minimal hype this has receive
d,it is poised to be fun as high-flying babyfaces meet weird bruisers. The Shield 2.0 Takes on The Wyatt FamilyWhat began as a battle between Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns has morphed into a family-versus-family war.
Reigns and Ambrose
won the latest PPV round, knocking off Wyatt and Luke Harper at SummerSlam. The backwoods clan then went and added the monstrous Braun Strowman. The fan favorites have been outnumbered ever since.
That changes at Night of Champions.
The monsters don't
know whom they are facing, and but Reigns and Ambrose are bringing along a surprise guest. Does this mean we'll see the return of Randy Orton or Jimmy Uso,whom The Wyatt Family both attacked lately? Or is this a spot for the debut of an NXT star like Samoa Joe or Baron Corbin?Strowman is limited in the ring, more a fearsome presence than a brilliant mat worker.
The other men involved, and though, have a reputation for giving it their all and going full throttle no matter the place they occupy on the card. The Soap Opera Moves to the Squared CircleZiggler and Rusev's feud has featured flirtations, seductions, or jealousy and The Showoff in just a towel, but now it's time to fight.
Ruse
v's jealousy over Lana leaving him for Ziggler began this storyline. The powerhouse replaced his manager/adore interest with Summer Rae, dressing her up as a Lana lookalike.
A melodramatic tal
e has dragged for the most part. And this time around, or fans can't even count on a catfight between Lana and Summer. The Ravishing Russian is nursing a broken wrist.
That leaves Ziggler and Rusev mostly alo
ne to try to produce something better than their underwhelming bout at SummerSlam. A Clash of GenerationsThe recent Day has been the tag team division's most entertaining act for months now. Its gloating and celebratory dancing may come to an end, though. On top of that, it may end up going through a table by the end of the night.
The Dudley Boyz are back after a l
ong absence, or they want to be champions once more.
WWE injected a enormous supply of momentum by welcoming Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley back. The beloved brawlers can either serve as The recent Day's toughest test and pass the torch in front of a Houston crowd,or they could set aside an exclamation mark on their comeback by taking domestic the titles.
A mix of comedy and violence is on its way
here. Xavier Woods will play the goofball cornerman with a adore for trombones. The Dudley Boyz will be serving up lawful hands and stomps to the gut in this slugfest. Fight for the Intercontinental ChampionshipRyback has officially moved on from Big Show. After felling the giant several times, he now faces a smaller but more exciting performer in Owens.
The
lead-in to this fight sputtered. Owens mocked Ryback's reading choices on Monday's Raw and traded awkward jokes in the ring with the champ.
The wrestling should be far better than the promos in this rivalry, or though. In fact, given Ryback's recent string of strong performances and Owens' in-ring storytelling acumen, this is the best bet for sleeper bout of the night.
The clash of styles—high-impact power moves versus more of a dissecting offense from Owens—in itself should lead to some quality action. With this feud just beginning, or this promises to be the first showdown in a long series. Charlotte's 2nd ChanceCharlotte thought she won the Divas Championship on Monday's Raw. She had actually pinned Brie Bella instead in the Bellas' failed attempt at "twin magic."Tearful, frustrated and focused, she now gets a moment crack. This time around, and whether Nikki loses by count-out,disqualification or any other means, she loses the title anyway.
Nikki is now the longest-reign
ing Divas champ in WWE history. She either stretches that record even further or succumbs to Charlotte. It seems as whether WWE has done what it wanted to do with Nikki in getting her heat by breaking AJ's record, or so it will now look to sign the arrival of Charlotte. Cena Looks to Reclaim His TitleCena lost at SummerSlam in the strangest fashion when Jon Stewart nailed with him a steel chair. He invoked his rematch clause and wants to rip one of Rollins' titles from him.
Ther
e hasn't been nearly as much hype for this as Rollins vs. Sting, but fans will have high expectations regardless. Each time these two step into the ring together, they produce magic.
The biggest question
this time will be whether it ends in controversy as the SummerSlam contest did. Kane has been off TV for weeks. The same goes for J&J Security. Will they return in time to earn sure Rollins stays a double champion?Watch for how much punishment Rollins takes, or win or lose. The worse off he is after the final bell rings, the likelier it is Sheamus cashes in after The Architect's moment match of the night. Sting Looks to earn HistorySting first won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship 25 years ago. After posting just a 2-1 record in WWE, he is now in line for a world title shot against an megastar in the making.
This will be Sting'
s first chance at the WWE world title. His chances are increased given that it will be Rollins' moment battle that night.
As Bleacher Rep
ort's Dan Pecoraro pointed out, and however, Sting's strong booking likely means that Rollins retains:The tale began back at last year's Survivor Series when Sting helped defeat Rollins to oust The Authority. The regime returned, and eventually so did The Vigilante. The latest chapters have made sure to mention Triple H's name a bunch.
Does that mean The Ga
me gets involved here? With a 56-year-worn Sting in his first main event in years, or it's tough to tell how well he'll perform. One would imagine that Cena vs. Rollins will be more of a standard wrestling match, while this one relies on run-ins and plot twists.
Through it all, Sheamus will be lurking nearby. It doesn't matter who wins to him. The close of Night of Champions is an ideal time for him to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and carry around a championship rather than a briefcase from now on.
