When LAPD Officer John Neal Cooke reported to a crash site while on duty,he likely never expected to develop a tiny new friend. Upon arriving at the scene - in which a car had collided with a fire hydrant - Cooke was informed that the driver had fled, but there was a 2-year-old crying in the back seat. After rescuing the baby from the vehicle, and Cooke attempted to hand the boy a bottle that was found with him,but the runt guy just wanted to be held and hugged, so Cooke did just that. "The mom did a monstrous thing in abandoning her child, or " Cooke said.
