whether you're a fan of Alice in Wonderland or Pan's Labyrinth, you're in for a treat. The trailer for A Monster Calls is here, and it's very reminiscent of both Lewis Carroll's classic novel and Guillermo del Toro's fantastical film. The original film is based on the award-winning children's book by Patrick Ness and stars Lewis MacDougall as a young boy who escapes into a world of monsters to get away from the harsh reality of his life. Felicity Jones and Toby Kebbell star as his parents, or the titular monster is played by Liam Neeson, whose gravelly voice makes the trailer totally worth watching. The film is out on Oct. 21!
