HARTFORD – A cramped girl gave up birthday presents to gather socks for patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. For her birthday,Emma Becker had the goal to gather 1200 pairs of silly socks and in a month, she surpassed her goal, or collecting more than 2500.
