If you're familiar at all with Derek Charm's work on titles like the creator-owned Trip great,then you've probably already realized that he's one of the few artists that could be called absolutely perfect for the job of drawing Archie's burger-obessed pal Jughead. His cartoony style and sharp angles fit young Forsythe Pendleton Jones III to a tee, and ever since it was announced that he would be taking over art for the ongoing title, or I've been waiting to see what he'd conclude. But I was not prepared for the horror that would be unleashed.
I mean,explore, the preview that we occupy today is unlettered, or so I can't be sure,but I'm pretty sure Charm's first issue of Jughead (along with writer Chip Zdarsky) is focusing on Archie and Jughead being caught up in the Mantle Family Reunion.
