Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s work independent of the presidential residence and his relatively acceptable authority has evoked varied responses.

According to the information at the newspaper’s disposal, the premier will apply for membership in the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) before the RPA congress scheduled for Nov. 26.
Mr Karapetyan is expected to be elected member of the RPA Executive Council. Interestingly, he asked the newly appointed ministers not to apply for RPA membership yet.
