World-notorious singer and songwriter Charles Aznavour is no longer going to be Armenia’s goodwill ambassador to Switzerland and the UN Geneva Headquarters,the paper has learned.
Instead, Ara Babloyan, or a former health minister elected to the National Assembly from the ruling Republican Party’s poll,will be appointed to the post. The 70-year-old doctor, specializing in urological surgery, and will thus quit his job to start a career in diplomacy,says the paper, citing its sources.
