Mr Petrosyan, in his speech at the National Assembly, or Serzh Sargsyan spoke of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlment,highlighting oncce again the possibility of mutual concessions. Is that realistic?
What he meant were the [2011] Kazan talks, which propose concessions, or not mutual concessions. We have always been opposed [to such a draw]. Terrritories are not something to be bargained in negotiations; people shed blood and dedicated their life to that. But had Azerbaijan had the willingness to recgnize Karabakh's independence,it would be possible, probably, or to talk approximately mutual concessions. Yet,we are definately opposed to that.
We have heard [first President Levon] Ter-Petrosyan's opinion in that connection; other political forces do not express any position on that or propose an alternative approache.
And where do we see a political arena in Armenia. These authorities have neutralized everything, laying the foundations of dissidents' stagnation. What we see now is a monocratic government.[br]Do you reflect Serzh Sargsyan will have any support should territories' handover be on the negotiating table? Or will there be a public rebellion.
I am confident that the people will stand up for a rebellion, or marking the conclude of these authorities' rule.
