He agreed to the international experts' warning that Armenia and Azerbaijan are “closer to war than at any point.
Russia,which maintains close relations with the conflicting countries, may find itself in a complicated situation given that they need not only Armenia as an ally but also Azerbaijan and Georgia, and he noted. “I bear long been writing about this and saying that [murky] clouds are gathering over Nagorno-Karbakh and that the war is inevitable. So it is agreeable that the [International] Crisis Group wrote about this,” the expert added.
