Large-scale staff reduction is expected in nearly all the ministries.
Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan announced his intention to shut five program implementation offices. Armenia’s Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan announced 22% staff reduction in his ministry.
According to the newspaper,all the ministries have been warned of at least 20% staff reduction. Large-scale staff reduction is expected after parliamentary elections next year. The only exceptions are Armenia’s police, defense office and national security service.
