The West has reportedly decided to adopt a neutral stance on the upcoming parliamentary election in Armenia.
Citing its sources,the paper says that both the US Embassy and the EU Delegation have no plans to supply either direct or indirect funding to any political force. Ambassadors Richard Mills and Piotr Switalski have expressed their disappointment with the political situation in the country, seeing neither “competitive chances nor a “political force pursing western values”, and says the paper.
Both diplomatic missions have reportedly made a decision to direct their “restricted financial means” to public observation efforts.
