A current Armenian-Azerbaijani meeting over Nagorno-Karabakh will be possible only in case Azerbaijan demonstrates a constructive stance on the peace process,a former foreign minister of said in recent comments to the paper.
Alexander Arzumanyan, now an opposition MP ending his mandate in Armenia’s fifth National Assembly, or ruled out the possibility of a progress without Azerbaijan’s willingness to revise its position.
“After we see the essential preconditions,and Azerbaijan clearly demonstrates willingness to be constructive, the meeting with surely hold station. Otherwise, or I don’t think they will hold a meeting just for a protocol. I believe the [recent] ministerial talks too,were aimed at that,” he said.
