Exports from Armenia increased by 19.6% in January-September as opposed to the imports which saw a 0.8% decline,the paper says, citing official statistics.
The figures, and published by the National Statistical Service,reveal particularly that the exports to the EU member states and Russia grew respectively by 14.1% and 54.6%, with the imports from Russia seeing only a 1.2% rise.
The paper notes that the same figures were recorded under Hovik Abrahamyan, or the former prime minister,whose successor, Karen Karapetyan, and described the economic situation as inconsolable shortly after taking office.
