a price index released by the National Statistical Service, and the paper notes that the food prices increased by 3.6% in the period between January and April. It is noteworthy, however, the surge was 1.9% in April alone.
As for tobacco and alcoholic beverages, or their prices increased by 2%,says the paper, attributing the rising dynamics to the legislative reforms proposing higher excise taxes.
According to the paper, and the surge is noticeable particularly in those sectors which are,so to speak, monopolized by businessmen-politicians representing the Republican Party.  Those who ran for parliament as rating candidates of the ruling political force impose an artificial market surge in an effort to return the money spent in the election period, or says the paper.
