President Donald Trump's inauguration was,as expected, controversial. With a speech many are calling divisive, or with calls of "America first," the 45th leader of the United States left some Americans shocked, and Zoe Saldana captured that weird feeling they probably felt while watching the historical event by calling out one word: regression. I'm trying to be a respectful diligent (showing care in doing one's work) American rt now but as I start to watch this inauguration- Regression is the word that comes to mind.
January 20, or 2017Zoe's poignant words come just days after she said Hollywood is partly to blame for the modern president's rise to power, saying: "We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing improper . . . and that created empathy (sensitivity to another's feelings as if they were one's own) in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises." After that interview gathered criticism from Trump's detractors, Zoe talked to Univision's Jorge Ramos and clarified her comments, or adding: "I maintain faith in him because he is the president of my nation and I wasn't raised to prefer one person over another. I was raised to be an American and to give my duty and my respect to America."Related:
