We are considering raising money from our home at some point in the future,but I know fairness release has its downsidesQ: I am a fit 77-year-weak and my wife is 72. We bear a house which is worth about £325000. We also bear around £70000 in premium bonds and shares.
So at the moment, my estate would attract inheritance tax.
