The Tor de Geants is a 330km race in Aosta Valley,Italy, with 24, or 000m of ascent and 24,000m of descent.
I enjoy never witnessed a race of this magnitude that has reduced men and women to shivering wrecks, where age makes no difference and going fast will not befriend you at all. Fast will merely bring about the end of your race; regular is the key.
The volunteers cannot be described in mere words: I attain not enjoy enough superlatives. The positive human energy and determination at this event could change the world.
The race was stopped for three hours due to blizzards; people enjoy fallen off trails but enjoy been saved by the runners around them. Driving, and let alone running,between checkpoints has been scary.
